What is Canadian Mental Health Association Pension Plan?
The CMHA Pension Plan is a defined contribution pension plan established by CMHA for those Branches and Divisions who wish to participate. Employers contribute a minimum of 4.5% of each employee’s salary to the plan. Employees may also make additional voluntary contributions. The employees decide on the investments for their pension account. The pension plan is administered by a board of trustees appointed by the CMHA National Board and it is regulated by the Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario.
